So... here's a little about the film.
The Los Angeles Times ran a long piece about how we met Risa Bejarano. Risa grew up in foster care. Her stepfather sexually abused her, her mother had a long history of drug abuse and she had been bouncing around the system since she was 9. She went on her own when she turned 18.
